Blue Spoof
AI-powered fake players
IMPORTANT: Restart the chat.yml file if you want to take advantage of its new features.
- Improved AI chat messages so fake players blend into the chat more naturally, with shorter, more casual and more varied lines.
- Fake players now keep a personality, a typing style and an ongoing situation for as long as they are connected, so everything they say stays consistent with everything else they have said.
- Added NVIDIA as an AI chat provider, so fake players can chat using the models hosted on build.nvidia.com with a free API key.
- AI prompts are now built from a shared "style_rules" block plus a short task, so the length and tone of every message can be tuned in one place.
- AI providers enabled in the config are now always used, even when they are missing from the provider priority list of an older config file.
- AI provider errors now explain the reason in the console instead of printing the raw response.
- Fixed AI replies that contained several lines being merged into one very long chat message, and replies wrapped in quotation marks reaching chat with the quotes.
- Fixed fake players writing "null" in chat when every configured AI provider failed.
- Fixed the typing delay being ignored for AI answers in public chat, so long answers were sent as fast as short ones.
- Fixed AI random messages using the chance value of the configurable messages instead of their own.
- Fixed an error when a fake player was due to answer in chat but no fake player was connected any more.
